John’s earliest memories were fishing with his father almost every chance he got. As a teenager, he spent every weekend and break fishing anywhere he could access. A self-taught sportsman, John took the skills his father taught and expanded on them by learning new ways to fish. After moving to Oregon in 2003, he quickly fell in love with salmon and steelhead fishing on the Willamette and Columbia Rivers, as well as drift fishing smaller rivers. In 2012, he learned how to bead fish from a friend who gave him a handful of Lured Beads.
“Ever since I was introduced to Lured Beads they have had a place tucked away in my gear. Steelhead, coho, salmon, cutthroat and sturgeon have fallen for the bead and in 2015 I hope to get a walleye. Fishing is what I love to do and watching someone hook a fish, whether it’s their first, or their 100th, you can see the joy in their face… that keeps me doing it.” John Webb
