Hi I am Captain Mitchell Brooks, an expert Oregon fishing guide specializing in catching salmon and steelhead from Oregon's beautiful rivers all the way to the Pacific ocean. As a United States Coast Guard certified and licensed by the State of Oregon, fully insured fishing guide I have been fishing since I was a kid and know the area well. I own one of the best fishing charters in the Salem Oregon area. Guiding coastal and inland waters near and around Reedsport, Florence, Eugene, Newport, Lincoln City, Salem, Pacific city, Portland, and Astoria. I grew up on one of Oregon's most beautiful and diverse rivers, the Umpqua river where I mastered many of the techniques necessary to become a great well rounded fisherman under the tutelage of my father. I have been professionally guiding fishing trips for over 10 years now, and have honed my skills over decades of tried and true methods, techniques and research. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the sport with others who are interested in learning more about the many fisheries Oregon has to offer. I thoroughly enjoy taking people who have never fished before out for their first time because I know what a fantastic experience it can be for them!
